Cleaner

Position Overview

The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the designated work area, ensuring that all areas are presentable and safe for use

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, and polish furniture and fittings.
• Clean and disinfect all areas.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Empty and dispose of trash and recycling bins.
• Wash windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
• Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
• Follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure it is in good working order.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy items if needed.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Education and Certification

• No formal education requirements, but a high school diploma or equivalent is desirable.
• Relevant cleaning certifications are a plus but not required.
